Seminar to explore the application of psychological theories and principles to contemporary social issues, such as the impact of inequality on health and wellbeing, mental health, climate change and environmental justice, intersectional oppression, immigration, housing and homelessness, as well as social interventions that psychologists can use to contribute to transformative organizational and social change. Social issues will be analyzed with an ecological lens ranging from the individual level to larger societal structures such as political, economic and cultural systems. Prerequisites: PS282.
